Cleanse Your Body With Your Thoughts

Do you think that it is possible to poison your body with your own thoughts? If this idea is new to you it may be a little disturbing to think about, I know I thought so when I was first asked the question. When you think hateful thoughts you could quite literally be poisoning your own body. There is a perfect example of this in the movie/documentary “What The Bleep Do We Know” The movie featured the work of visionary Japanese researcher Dr Masaru Emoto. Dr Emoto has conducted a series of experiments where he exposes water to music, written words, spoken words and pictures. The water is photographed under normal conditions then droplets of water are frozen and then examined under a dark field microscope that has photographic capabilities. The results are amazing.

They are also very beautiful and very thought provoking. The water that was exposed to positive words or music formed beautiful hexagon shaped crystals, but the water that was exposed to negative words or abrasive music would not crystallize at all and turned dark and extremely ugly. Take a few minutes and look at Dr Emoto’s work here Messages From Water

So what do a few hundred water crystals have to do with you? Well first let me ask have you ever thought hateful words about yourself? Such as ‘man I am so stupid’ ‘god I’m fat’ ‘I am so useless’ ‘I wish I was dead’. Most people at some time or the other have hated on themselves for one reason or another at one time or another, and it is at these times when we are doing the most damage.

Think back to Dr Emoto’s photographs remember the effect negative words and thoughts had on the water and then ponder this…the human body is over seventy percent water. You might want to read that again and I hope you realize the significance. When you think harshly and speak harshly about yourself can you imagine the damage you are doing to over seventy percent of your body, not to mention what you are doing to others and to the environment.

When I think back over my life I can recall many examples of my damaging my body. I am a feeling kind of person, I often “feel” things before I see them or know them, and throughout my life there have been times when I have experienced embarrassing, shameful or hurtful situations and I have indulged in verbal self-torture. These times would always produce the same reaction. I would first become nauseous then my head would begin pounding and the dizziness would start. I would literally have a physical reaction to the angry words I was directing at myself.

If you have never experienced this I know it may seem far fetched to think that we can harm our physical form with our thoughts, some of you who may have medical backgrounds might come up with many different “diagnosis” for the symptoms I experienced, I might even sound hypochondriacally inclined to some, but those of you who study the universal law of attraction, energy healing or even EFT will fully understand this concept and you will not be able to come to any other conclusion.

I implore you, if you have not already done so, take a look at Dr Emoto’s photographs and study his work; it is likely that doing so will lead you to the even more exciting work of source energy researcher Stephen Pollitt.

Carole I find this experiment so fascinating.

After watching "What the Bleep Do We Know?", I cringe when I hear someone say negative things to or about themselves. It is especially painful when they say them to children.

as you have very thoughtfuly pointed out, our words have so much power.

Have a great day!
